Is my chart really free?
Yes — your Type, Profile, Strategy, Authority, and full colored bodygraph are free, permanently, no card required. You're never paying to see your own chart. The subscription is for the personalized daily reading built from that chart, not the chart itself.
What do you need from me to calculate my chart?
Your birth date, time, and place. Be as precise as you can, especially the time — Human Design charts are sensitive to it, since the planetary positions they're built from shift throughout the day. We resolve the correct historical UTC offset for the place and moment you give us, including historical daylight saving rules.
I don't know my exact birth time — can I still get a chart?
You can, but treat it as approximate. Your Type and most of your chart are usually stable across a few hours either way, but some placements — particularly Profile and certain gate activations — can shift if your birth time is off by more than about two hours. A birth certificate or hospital record is the most reliable source if you can get one.
Is Human Design astrology? Is it "real"?
Human Design draws on several traditions — Astrology, the I Ching, the Kabbalah's Tree of Life, the Hindu-Brahmin chakra system, and quantum physics — combined into one system by Ra Uru Hu in 1987. It isn't a scientifically validated framework, and we don't present it as one. We think of it as a structured tool for self-reflection: whether it "works" for you is something you get to decide for yourself, by seeing whether it actually describes your patterns.
What's actually different about the daily reading, versus a generic horoscope?
Every reading is generated from your specific chart against that day's actual planetary transits — not a shared sun-sign forecast. Each section names the specific gate or channel driving it, so it's tied to something concrete in your chart rather than vague, could-apply-to-anyone phrasing.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, whenever you like. Your free chart, bodygraph, and the free daily collective-gate note stay available either way — cancelling only turns off the personalized daily reading and gate breakdown.
Does my reading show up at the same time every day, wherever I live?
No — it's timed to your own local morning, not one shared moment for everyone. We use the timezone your browser reports when you enter your birth data.
What if I want to re-enter my birth data?
You can do that anytime from the chart page — a new entry recalculates your chart and reading from scratch.
How is my data used?
Your birth data is used to calculate your chart and generate your readings — that's it. It isn't sold or shared with third parties.
